a confession to make....
yesterday morning, on my way to sch, at hougang mrt station, a lady who seemed to be suffering from polio entered the train. her movement was not as fluent as that of any of us... On seeing her plight, normally i would offer my seat to her. But yesterday i was very tired, having had lack of sleep due to a series of nightmares over the last few nights. A bangladeshi man sitting opposite me was gracious enough to give up his seat to her. Upon witnessing this, I had mixed feelings. firstly, guilty! i felt terrible that I was worse off than someone coming from a third world country... however I was also glad that at least the lady got to sit down so that she would not feel so uncomfortable throughout the rest of the journey. I know I deserved to be slapped... excuses will always be excuses. There's no difference between good and bad excuses! Haiyo... I feel so guilty :(

2007... a new beginning
it's been 3 weeks since my grandma passed away... all of us have moved on with our lives, though we still missed her presence. sometimes, we just can't help but talk about the olden days when my grandma was still around. such is her influence that without her, the home seems less lively and seemingly lack of something...
this being a new yr, i'll be aiming to improve my medal tally on the lawn bowls front... last yr i got only 2 bronze medals... hopefully this yr i can be stronger mentally and not crumble to the semi final jinx.
I'm also very happy that i can meet up with my sec sch friends once again... aomething we could only do so like once a yr previously... few of them getting their degrees soon... kind of envy them...
lastly... to my friends, take care! and may your new year resolutions come true!
