work, stress, frustration... but at least i'm busy:)

haiz... haven't been free to update this page for the last 2 weeks... lots of project and work coming my way plus lawn bowls taking up 3 days in a week. At least now i know I am enjoying working on my remaining 2 projects with my group members. And also, i'm looking forward to the end result- marks! hahaha... cos i'm anxious to know how we'll be rewarded for our hard work.
Also, recently i've been baffled by some things... esp by some things said by my lawn bowls mates. They seem to be keeping something from me. Everytime when i tried to ask them, they wouldn't wan to say anything. Reasons gave included, "you observe and think about it...". sometimes i really dunno what to do. Can I still trust them?? Cos to me, good friends should be truthful to one another instead of keeping things from them. Makes me feel so insecure...

learning to cope with the agony

This morning i joined prem, tony and piet in SCC team 2 for the national fours tournament against tournament favourites, which is stephen's team. we started off quite well but lost the game just after the halfway mark when we gave away 5 shots on 2 ocassions. However, I must say that the scoreline of 21-12 did not do any justice to us. In fact we played very well... and I was particularly impressed with my form at the moment which started as early as thursday when we just lost narrowly to john and chia in the Tuas Power League. I managed to draw in at least 1 bowl which was about 1 foot away from the jack on at least 12 of the 18ends... However, I'm still learning to cope with the agony of losing a tournament even when i had been playing so well.
Yesterday I had my first training session with bowls singapore's national squad in 3months. The whole session took about 4.5 hrs which we were told was to build up our stamina to last more than 1 game. Many of us produced nice touches on the green despite the hazy conditions... Hmmm... now at least I'm able to get a breather and concentrate on my sch projects. Next up is the National Mixed Pairs... and I hope I can bring on my good form to that tournament...
